Printer Offline
Issue:
Your computer shows the printer as offline, even though the device is powered on.
Problem Cause:
This problem is commonly caused by:
- “Use Printer Offline” mode being enabled
- Wi-Fi disconnection or changes in the network (for wireless printers)
- Print Spooler glitches or outdated printer drivers
Solutions:
- Open Control Panel > Devices and Printers, then right-click your printer:
- Select “Set as default printer”
- Ensure “Use Printer Offline” is unchecked
- Restart both your computer and the printer.
- For Wi-Fi printers: reconnect to the correct wireless network.
- Clear the print queue and restart the Print Spooler service:
